What is Akari?
Akari means light in Japanese, and we are a membership-based neighborhood sauna studio that provides accessible and rejuvenating experience for people of Williamsburg, Brooklyn, and beyond.
Can I walk-in?
Members can come by any time during business hours. No walk-ins allowed for non-members.
Can I do a trial before committing?
We don't offer trials at this time in an effort to ensure the space never exceeds capacity for our members.
What should I bring?
Bathing suits. Clean towels and slippers are available.
Is there an age limit?
Must be 18 years or older.
Are all facilities gender-neutral?
Yes. Facilities are not separated by gender.
Can I book the entire sauna for a private session or an event?
For private bookings and event inquiries, please email hello@akarisauna.com.
Scheduled maintenance & deep clean
While we clean throughout the day and deep clean every night, we will be closed on the 1st Friday of every month for maintenance. We appreciate the understanding in our effort to keep the space up to the highest standards as possible!

Membership
What are your membership options?
All membership tiers are currently sold out.
How many memberships are available?
We limit total memberships to ensure facilities remain within capacity, guaranteeing the best experience possible.
Can I bring a guest?
Yes, we're allowing guest of our members for one-time visits. To ensure the space doesn't get overcrowded, email us with your desired date & time at least a day in advance. Guests must arrive and depart at the same time with the member.
Guest fee of $35+tax is payable in person.
What is your cancellation policy?
You can cancel your membership at any time - all we ask is email us at hello@akarisauna.com at least 72 hours before your monthly bill date.
Members can also pause up to 60 days once, annually. Email 72hrs ahead of your desired pause date to schedule.
If you decide to cancel your membership, please keep in mind that you won't be able to retrieve the original price you signed up for, and there's no guarantee you can reclaim your membership spot in the future as our prices and availability may change over time.
