Assistant Manager - Full-Time: Requires weekday and weekend availability

Akari is seeking an experienced, passionate, and reliable Assistant Studio Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate has experience in hospitality management and is excited to be part of a young and growing company.
This role includes both hands-on operational work and leadership responsibilities. The Assistant Studio Manager will be required to work stand-alone shifts, in which they will directly oversee the studio's day-to-day operations without additional staff support. In addition to these solo shifts, they will also take on broader managerial tasks at the studio to oversee staff, maintain operations, and enhance member experience for an additional 20 hours per week (total of ~40 hours per week, variable week-to-week).
Future opportunity to grow into roles as Studio Manager or General Manager.
What you'll do:
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the studio, upholding high service standards, addressing issues proactively, and maintaining a calm, solutions-oriented approach
• Lead by example in providing superior customer service and building lasting member relationships
• Work with owners to recruit, train, schedule, and nurture relationships with staff
• Ensure staff arrive on time, and coordinate promptly with owners in the event of issues or concerns
• Maintain and enforce exceptional cleanliness standards on-site
• Manage monthly deep-cleaning, ensuring sufficient coverage of other service providers
• Maintain inventory of service-related items, manage ordering, and ensure proper storage
Qualifications:
• Flexible schedule: early mornings, evenings, and weekends
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Positive demeanor, going the extra mile for employees and members
• 3+ years of managerial experience in hospitality, wellness, or retail
• Comfortable with high temperatures for short periods
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
• Friendly and composed, with strong attention to detail
• Willingness to get certified in Adult CPR and First Aid
